Very detailed practical info like where to begin and direction to drive for best views along a certain coastline, and what tourist venues are "over-rated".
I love the Kindle version because all of the web addresses are live links which is super convenient. I love Frommer's easy to follow layout and star ratings. I mostly rely on their listings of attractions as I stay with friends when I'm in England so usually don't need to pay for accommodations.
Frommer's is the best hand down. We buy these books for every vacation we take! Very informative and easy to read. Highly recommend.
Lots of very interesting information about the areas we were looking at going too. Well set out in sections of interest.

Covers too much ground, with too few details. I get the impression that it concentrates on the tourist traps. OK introduction but you will want more to actually plan a trip.
